Culture is often setup by initial team members and is driven by the stories that we tell each other about our growth.
These stories often highlight certain characteristics of our behaviour (values). Over last 4 years certain values have become more important for us and they drive our decision making in tough situations. They are
- Bold Decision - Instead of trying everything, we chose our direction and stick to it. You will find that we are comfortable in saying No to good ideas if they do not align with our defined goals or purposes. This will help you to get more focused on your work deliverables.
- Customer First - Define who is your customer. Understand them and their needs. Lead your plans and projects keeping customer interest on top priority.
- Madness for Efficiency - We are crazy when it comes to make system efficient. Finding a hack to do a thing is a good start but then going extra mile and converting that into a SOP is what we really value.
- Ownership - You own your work. You should be comfortable in questioning the solution, decisions and resources contributed towards your project. You are smart and intelligent being capable of deciding best approach to work on your project. We expect people to own what they do and how they do it.
- Collaborate - Be it the story of achieving more than 3 million active paid subscribers or doing over 1000 youtube marketing campaigns every month, we have seen that our team have achieve great things when people with unique and different skill set collaborate together. We did all great things when we collaborate.
- Give due credit: We celebrate our good work and give credit to whoever contributed.
