Salary

Fair compensation is critical to making Kuku FM a desirable place to work and helping our employees lead happy, healthy lives inside and outside of the office.

When used as a motivational tool, though, it can incentivise the wrong kind of optimisations. Our goal with salary is that it checks the box of "enough" for folks who are excited about working at Kuku FM (because of our mission, people and work) and then fades into the background.

Kuku FM evaluates compensation annually. Our ability to offer raises is dependent on our current market conditions.

Bonuses

At Kuku FM your bonuses directly aligned with the outcome you are driving. We highly encourage people to have direct formal conversation with their reporting manager about the milestones that they need to achieve to get most of their bonus. This conversation should ideally happen every month so that if market scenario pushes for change in target then both manager and reportee are clear about their new goal. During review every December month review cycle (annual), we allocate bonus percentage.
